MVV Environment is planning to provide a modern, environmentally friendly solution to the disposal of household waste. Subject to planning permission, construction of the EfW plant at North Yard, Devonport would start in spring 2012.

On average, there would be 159 people working on site during the 34-months construction and commissioning period. Operating the plant would create another 33 direct full-time jobs. MVV is aiming to recruit locally where possible.
