Being in close contact with the residents of Buckfastleigh and the surrounding area is an important part of MVV and Gilpin Demolition’s proposal. At exhibitions in February 2011 and again in June representatives of both companies have been available for questions and discussions.

At the exhibition in February, a number of local residents expressed interest in joining a Local Liaison Committee. The first formal meeting of this committee will be held on 5th July 2011 at Whitecleave Quarry.
