MVV is committed to continuous community involvement to ensure that the public is kept informed and able to communicate its views on MVV's plans. MVV has shown this commitment by having set up an Incinerator Liaison Committee (ILC) which enables members of the community to get involved and discuss with MVV those questions relevant to the local community.

The first formal meeting of the ILC took place in May 2011. From now on, the Committee will meet on a regular basis to discuss issues arising from MVV's plans at Devonport North Yard. Minutes of these meetings will be made available to the public as soon as they have been agreed between the ILC members. Please note that the ILC was called Local Liaison Committee (LLC) in the beginning and that the current set of documents still shows the old name. This will be changed in due course.
